Peace Flower Wreath Workshop
Kure City flourished as the largest naval port city in the Orient
The venue, Houhaikan, is a historic building that is one of the former navy brick warehouses registered as a Japan Heritage site, and along with the Yamato Museum, Alley Karasukojima Park in front of it is a tourist spot in Kure City.
Looking back on the horrific history of the war between Kure City and the Houhaikan, and with conflicts still continuing around the world, participants will create wreaths out of flowers, a symbol of peace, and those who wish can offer them at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
Please come and join this workshop, filled with the desire for peace.
